Buddy Program
Buddy Programs aim to develop student connectedness to school and foster student safety and well-being. Each Grade is paired with a Buddy Grade at the beginning of each year. Environmental Education
Coatesville Primary School is committed to developing a "futures-focussed" curriculum which fosters knowledge, skills and values that equip our youngest citizens with the ability to build solutions and actively participate in their world, as caring citizens.

Coatesville Out of School Hours (COSH)Care
In partnership with Camp Australia, COSH Care offers a range of programs including Before and After School Care, Curriculum Days and Vacation Care. Our quality program is run by Camp Australia. See online for more details.

Performing Arts
Performing Arts at Coatesville Primary School includes weekly classroom lessons and is enhanced by instrumental, choral and dance opportunities. During classroom time the students explore elements of Music, Drama and Dance.

Physical & Sport Education
Coatesville Primary School provides a full time "specialist teacher" for PE & Sport. The promotion of healthy living and active leisure time activities are deemed to be of the highest priority. We actively seek parents who are willing to coach and/or train students in a range of sporting events.

Religious Education
The Victorian Education Act and regulations make provision for students to receive religious education as a normal part of their schooling.

Snow Sports
A safe enjoyable experience that introduces and challenges through Snow Sports, an opportunity for students to experience a challenging activity in an alpine environment at Mt Buller Ski Resort.

Visual Arts
Learning about The Arts allows students an insight into the rich, historical and cultural world around them. It cultivates self-expression, imagination and creativity, as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Each year we provide an Artist-in-Residence to enrich our visual arts program. After school, "Art Smart" classes are available on a weekly basis.

Health Education
As part of the Health Education curriculum Coatesville Primary school runs Family Life sexuality education programs. These programs emphasise the importance of the family. Trained, experienced educators conduct programs that support parents in helping their children learn about human sexuality. These programs help prepare young people and families for the physical and emotional changes of puberty.
